Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MODEL 97”. The top of the barrel is marked “12 GA 2 3/4””. The right side of the barrel is marked “IAC BILLERICA MA.”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “B091253”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “S.C. CHINA”. The right side of the receiver is marked with a fake flaming bomb ordnance mark.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass bead at the muzzle end of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece wood featuring a corn-cob style forend and a buttstock with a semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and black plastic checkered buttplate. There is a sling swivel in the belly and one on the bayonet lug. The stocks show no notable wear or damage. There are no cracks or chips. The length of pull (LOP) is 13 3/4” from the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. The buttplate shows only light handling wear, and its checkering is sharp. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore. There is some fouling streaking down the bore. In this writers opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. There is thinning on the mag tube from operating the slide. Faint scratches are visible on the left side of the receiver and scattered on the bayonet lug. Light thinning is present on some leading edges. The markings remain clear. The screw heads are serviceable. Overall, the shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
