Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “270819” near the chamber and features a “Crown” over “HJ” proof mark along with other Swedish proof markings. The left side of the receiver is marked “Husqvarna Vapenfabriks A.B. Sweden” followed by the serial number “270819.” All markings are sharp, clear, and legible.

Barrel Length: 26”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade mounted on a serrated ramp to reduce glare. The rear sight is an adjustable U-notch dovetail-mounted on the barrel. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mounts, allowing for the addition of optics. Both the sights and mounting points are in Very Good condition.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a one-piece walnut stock with a capped semi-pistol grip, straight comb with cheek piece, schnabel forend, rubber buttpad and checkered panels on the forearm and grip. The stock shows minor handling marks and light wear consistent with responsible use, but there are no cracks, chips, or repairs. The checkering remains sharp, providing an excellent grip. The length of pull measures approximately 13 3/4” from the trigger to the back of the black rubber recoil pad, which is soft and pliable. The stock rates in Very Good overall condition.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle has an internal magazine with a hinged floorplate capable of holding three rounds of .358 Norma Magnum ammunition. The floorplate shows minimal handling wear and is in Very Good condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is gray, the rifling is sharp. There is light visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 6/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 93% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light thinning and handling marks. The screw heads are sharp and show no signs of heavy use. The markings are crisp and well-defined. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good to Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The bolt operates smoothly, and the trigger breaks cleanly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
