Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post set between two protective ears. The rear sight is a u-notch tangent sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a wire with rubber buttpad. The pistol grip and foregrip are smooth polymer. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad. The stocks are in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is some minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 93% of its metal finish. There are typical light scratches scattered about the metal but no significant handling or operation wear. The screw heads and pins are in great condition. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Hungarian FEG CII SA2000 is a semi-automatic rifle derived from the AKM design, sharing several similarities with the AMD-65, another Hungarian variant of the AK-47. Both the SA2000 and the AMD-65 are built on the robust AK platform, known for its reliability and durability. They feature a stamped steel receiver and are chambered in 7.62x39mm, offering compatibility with standard AK ammunition.
The SA2000 incorporates many design elements found in the AMD-65, such as the gas-operated, rotating bolt system, and a chrome-lined barrel that enhances durability and corrosion resistance.
Both rifles maintain the simplicity and ease of maintenance that the AK series is famous for, making them reliable choices for various shooting applications.
