Our Assessment: Make this legendary rifle yours today! The Savage Model 99 is perhaps the most iconic weapon produced by Savage Arms throughout their storied history. The Model 99 was designed by Arthur Savage himself and had several unique and innovative features that made it a worthy competitor to the big names at the time like Colt and Winchester. The most notable of these features is the Model 99’s rotary feed magazine. The magazine’s cylindrical design meant it could fit higher power rounds than the tube fed magazines of its competitors. It even had a built-in round counter on the side of the gun. The Model 99 was produced for 100 years practically without changes, and it would make a mark on the firearms world during that time. Many famous big game hunters including Roy Chapman and Harry Caldwell would use this gun, and it would even end up in the hands of lawmen like Frank Hamer, the man who caught Bonnie and Clyde. Don’t miss your chance and grab up this iconic firearm today! Please look at our photos and good luck on your bids.-C.M.
