Our Assessment: The Sentinel R-101 is one of Hi-Standards police-style revolvers made in the late ‘50s to early ‘60s. Hi-Standard is well known for their line of semi-auto rimfire target pistols, but after handling this revolver we wonder why their revolvers have not gotten as much praise. This is a well constructed lightweight gun that holds nine shots of .22 rimfire. This is in Very Good condition with light cosmetic wear but has solid mechanics, plus the bore is bright with sharp rifling. This C&R double action would make a perfect plinker to shoot with all day and definitely a conversation starter with its distinct finish! Please see our photos and good luck in your bidding!
