Our Assessment: High Standard had a long history of manufacturing target pistols going back to before WWII, so they had lots of time to perfect the design. This is the Supermatic Citation and is of the Military variety with the grip angle of a 1911. It comes with a compensator installed on its 7 1/4″ fluted bull barrel. This pistol is in good shape, retaining about 90% original finish with a strong bore. The mechanics are smooth and the trigger is light and crisp. Please see our photos of this fantastic target pistol and good luck!
