Markings: The receiver ring is marked with a Portuguese crest featuring a shield with seven castles and five escutcheons, surrounded by a laurel wreath, over “1941.” The top of the barrel is marked “HENRIKSEN.” The left side of the barrel is marked “458 WIN-MAGNUM.” The scope mount is marked “Griffin & Howe Inc. New York / Pat. 1856549 May 31, 1932.” The serial number “G19264” is marked on the left side of the receiver near the crest.
Barrel Length: Approximately 24”
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fiber optic blade dovetailed to a checkered ramp that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a u-notch with two folding wings one is marked 200 and the other is marked 300 That is dovetailed to the barrel. The rifle is mounted with a Weaver scope on a Griffin & Howe quick-detach side-mount system. The scope features a duplex reticle and clear glass, with adjustments for windage and elevation. The scope rates in Very Good condition, with only minor handling wear visible.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a custom-made, checkered hardwood stock with a capped pistol grip, fluted straight comb with cheekpiece, rubber Kick-Ez butt pad, a sling stud in the belly and a sling mount fixed to the barrel infront of the forend. The stock shows beautiful grain patterns and is finished with a high-gloss varnish. There are minor handling marks, with some small scratches and finish loss on the underside near the sling stud. The LOP measures approximately 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the solid rubber recoil pad. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: The rifle has an internal magazine with a floorplate, allowing for easy unloading. The magazine shows little wear and rates in Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Refinished
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore,. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 92% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minor thinning and edge wear on the bolt handle and trigger guard. The barrel and receiver have a rich, even blue finish with only light handling marks visible under close inspection. The screw heads are unmarred, and the markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
