Our Assessment: Heckler & Koch is well known for their roller-delayed blowback military rifles and they also brought the operating system to sporting rifles with their 630, 770, and 940 lines. The HK630 is the hunting rifle version of the SL6 boasting an integral flash hider/compensator, longer barrel, open rear leaf sights and a sporting style stock.   While the HK630 may not be as widely recognized as some other firearms in Heckler & Koch’s lineup, it remains a sought-after collector’s item and a reliable choice for shooters who appreciate its heritage, engineering excellence, and the semi-automatic shooting experience it offers.  They are no longer in production and with the limited numbers that were imported to the U.S. these are already rare and are becoming harder to find.  Please see our photos and good luck!
