Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “HK Mod P9 S HECKLER & KOCH GMBH OBERNDORF/NECKAR / US.PAT.NO.3,566,745 Made in Germany”. The slide is also marked with a proof and “105 694”. The barrel hood is marked “9 Para 105 694 HK”. The right side of the frame is marked “74”. The left side of the frame is marked “TAI MINOT, ND 105 694” with two more proofs.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white tall blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a polymer base, adjustable metal blade, square notched sight dovetailed into the slide.
Magazine Quantity and Condition. This pistol includes one 9 round 9mm single stack magazine in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a one piece textured wood grip with a right handed thumb shelf screwed to the frame. The grips show very little wear and they have a very small chip from wear the internal hammer protrudes outside the frame to act as a cocked hammer indicator. The front strap is polymer with finger grooves. The grips are in Excellent overall condition.
Type of Finish: Black matte, Blued.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the polygonal rifling is defined for older style HK Pistols. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. On the left side of the slide there are two small spots where the finish has been removed. There is also a small spot on the right side of the slide. The blued portions have very fine surface scratches throughout. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this handgun rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This pistol features a roller-delayed delayed blow back system, manual slide mounted safety and heel magazine release. This pistol also features a very unique lever that works as a slide catch, slide release, and hammer cocking lever. It also functions as a decocking lever if depressed, and the trigger is pulled you can then let up on the lever slowly to decock it. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
