Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white dot fixed to the slide above the muzzle. The rear sight is an adjustable square notch with white outline dovetailed to the top rear of the slide. In the MOS slot is a Glock MOS Vortex plate with a Vortex Venom VMD-3103 3 MOA red dot. The Venom comes with the original box, Glock OEM plate and screws. The glass appears to be clear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are integral to the frame and are RTF2 textured polymer with finger grooves and a groove for removable backstraps. There are no major defects, just light handling wear. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with well defined polygonal rifling. There is light fouling in the grooves that should clean up. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates a 9.5 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is minor notable operational wear and handling marks. The pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Fine Plus – Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This handgun does Not come with magazines. However, this pistol Does come with the Venom Red Dot box, several Glock MOS adapter plates, the original Glock MOS plate & screws, a serial matching box, four backstrap plates and paperwork.
Our Assessment: The Glock 17 revolutionized the handgun market, bringing a simple, reliable, high capacity, lightweight pistol to market, but even Glock knows that there’s no reason not to have a 10mm. As many know, there’s the Model 40, a full-sized long slide pistol with the slide cut, drilled, tapped and filled for a red dot optic and chambered in a powerful caliber that has all of the simplicity, reliability and “perfection” that made Glock what it is today. The 10mm is a potent cartridge capable of dispatching targets on four legs or two. If you’re looking for a duty, home defense, or trail gun, this is something you need to consider. This Gen 4 is in Fine Plus – Excellent condition with an installed optic, boxes, MOS adapter plates for other optics, and is ready for a trip to the range or the field.
