Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with the Glock logo, “37”, “AUSTRIA”, and “.45 G.A.P.”. The right side of the slide is marked with the Glock logo and “LPP895”. The top of the chamber is marked “.45 G.A.P.” and the side is marked “LPP895” with the Glock Logo and a pentagon proof. The underside of the frame on a metal inlay is the serial number “LPP895”. The right side of the grip is marked “MADE IN AUSTRIA / GLOCK, INC., SMYRNA, GA.”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted post atop the slide. The rear sight is a rectangular notch sight dovetailed to the slide with a white outline of the notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is one-piece Olive Drab polymer integral to the frame with textured flanks, checkered finger grooves and ambidextrous thumb rests. There are no cracks or chips. Overall, the grip is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is some fouling down the length. There is no erosion in the bore. The bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows faint operational wear on the front of the barrel hood. Pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Glock 37 is Glock’s full-size platform chambered for the .45 GAP cartridge, a round introduced in the early 2000s in an effort to replicate .45 ACP performance within a shorter overall cartridge length suitable for standard 9mm-sized frames. Developed in cooperation with Speer, the .45 GAP sought to deliver comparable stopping power while allowing for a more compact grip circumference, an appealing concept for law enforcement agencies transitioning from larger-frame pistols. Built on the Gen 3 architecture, the Model 37 retains the familiar Safe Action system and ergonomic profile that defined Glock’s rise to prominence, while the distinctive Olive Drab frame reflects a period when factory color variations began to expand beyond the traditional black, offering both visual distinction and collector appeal.
This example presents in excellent condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original finish with only faint operational wear visible on the barrel hood. The OD green polymer frame remains clean and sharply textured, free from cracks or structural concerns, and provides a striking contrast to the black slide. The bore is bright with strong rifling, rating 9 out of 10, and the pistol includes a ZT Competition spring kit and 3.5 lb connector, indicating attention to trigger refinement while maintaining the platform’s core simplicity. Complete with its serial-matching case and accessories, this is a particularly well-preserved example of Glock’s foray into a now less-common service cartridge.
