Our Assessment: This German Gewehr 98 Mauser was made back in 1916 at the Mauser Oberndorf. This WWI era rifle has seen some use but should clean up a bit. It still has lots of nice markings on the metal and the roller coaster sights are in good shape for being over 100 years old. Roller Coaster sights and deep receiver markings make this Gewehr 98 Mauser worth collecting. Good luck.
