Our Assessment: Sako’s Model 75 series is a refined Finnish bolt-action sporting rifle line, known for smooth operation, quality machining, excellent accuracy potential, and classic European hunting-rifle styling. This Model 75 III is chambered in .22-250 Remington, a high-velocity varmint and predator cartridge prized for its flat trajectory, light recoil, and effectiveness on small game and coyotes at extended ranges. This example features a 22″ barrel with 1:14″ twist, blued finish, detachable 5-round factory magazine, checkered walnut stock with right-hand palm swell and Monte Carlo cheekpiece, free-floating barrel, and 30mm scope rings already installed. The Finnish Sako manufacture, attractive walnut stock, excellent bore, scope-ready setup, and proven .22-250 chambering should appeal to varmint hunters, Sako collectors, and shooters looking for a refined field rifle with strong accuracy potential.
