Sights/Optics: This rifle has no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is cut for the included Sako three ring 30mm scope mount.

Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “CAL. 338 Lapua Mag. MADE IN FINLAND”. The left side of the receiver is marked “SAKO TRG-42 A158598”. The right side of the barrel is marked “ WARNING READ MANUAL FOR SAFE USE FREE FROM IMPORTER – BERETTA  U.S.A. CORP. ACKK MD 20607”.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is the TRG aluminum reinforced full palm swell pistol grip stock with adjustable length of pull, cheek riser with cast off, adjustable pitch and height buttpad, detachable magazine system, 2 QD sling cups, and proprietary bi-pod mounting system. The current LOP measures 13.75” from the trigger to the rubber recoil pad. The stock has a small scratch on the right side near the magazine well, one near the bottom of the pistol grip, the bag rider cut, and one at the end of the right side of the forend. Overall the stock rates in about Very Good to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish.There are some minor marks on the barrel and a few very small patches of freckling. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This rifle includes one magazine in excellent condition, the scope mount and the Sako bi-pod.
