Markings: Left side of the receiver marked “READ MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING”. RIght side of the upper receiver is marked “A96583” and the right side of the lower is marked “FEATHER IND. INC. BOULDER, CO. 9MM LUGER AT-9”. Also has “S” and “F” by safety selector switch.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post. The rear sight is iron peep sight. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for rail attachments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is in Very Good condition. The group includes a synthetic pistol grip and handguard with a steel body and a wireframe stock that slots into holes at the rear of the receiver. The left side of the receiver has 2 sling studs. The Rubber buffer has been upgraded with an aftermarket buffer. The LOP measures 14.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended wireframe stock. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One Feather Ind. 30rd 9mm magazine in Very Good condition. The spring is strong and the leading edges are sharp. The magazine comes with its factory packaging.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal wear around the ejection port. The screw heads and threads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its original magazine and original broken rubber buffer.
Our Assessment: Don’t confuse this modern gun with WWII vintage M3, even if both look a little like the grease guns the M3 gets its nickname from. This Feather AT-9 is a takedown rifle in 9mm that some say is the worst version of a brilliant idea while others say it’s a great shooter. Fortunately this rifle has been upgraded with an aftermarket buffer. Take it for a spin at a range day, keep it for your plinking needs, it’s a great looking gun that comes from a bygone era.
