Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are only a couple of storage marks on the barrel and frame. There are one or two freckles on the bolt, but almost no wear. The pins are attractive. The markings are crisp. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions properly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Winchester Repeating Arms Company is a historic American firearms manufacturer that was founded in 1866 by Oliver Winchester. The company is best known for its iconic lever-action rifles, which were popularized in the American West during the late 19th century. Throughout its history, Winchester has also produced a wide range of other firearms, including shotguns, pistols, and military weapons. The company played an important role in American military history, with Winchester rifles and shotguns being used extensively in conflicts from the Indian Wars to World War II.
The Winchester Model Super-X Model 1 is a semi-automatic shotgun that was produced by Winchester Repeating Arms Company from 1974 to 1980. It was designed to be a versatile and reliable shotgun for hunting and sporting use. The Super-X Model 1 features a gas-operated action that helps reduce recoil, making it easier to shoot for extended periods of time. It also has a unique rotary bolt that locks directly into the barrel, providing a solid and secure lockup. This example is chambered for 12 Gauge 2 3/4” shells and is factory engraved with deluxe walnut stocks. The gun is in Excellent condition, showing little use. You will want to tighten up the stock bolt as it currently has a little play to the frame. This attractive & well made semi-auto shotgun would be great for hunting or sporting.
