Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “COLT MK IV -SERIES 80” with a Colt Rampant. The right side of the slide is marked “ GOVERNMENT MODEL”. The right side of the frame is marked “COLT’S PT.F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A”, “FR09483E”. The chamber is marked “- BAR STO 45 ACP”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped blade with a recessed dot and is fixed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch with two recessed dots and is dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece checkered wood with smooth diamonds around the grip screws. The grips have no notable wear or damage, only light handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is some faint operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. This pistol has a tight slide and a crisp trigger. This pistol was made with a firing pin block safety (series ’80). We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with its Blue plastic Colt box, owner’s manual,and a total of two magazines.
