Markings: The revolver has ornate scroll engraving coverage throughout, enhanced beautifully with intricate gold-plated accents. The barrel is marked “357 MAG” on the left side within a decorative gold-plated scroll-bordered panel. Both sides of the frame feature masterfully engraved scroll patterns with strikingly detailed gold-plated eagle motifs prominently displayed. The cylinder and underlug are similarly engraved and tastefully accented in gold plating. The crane and cut are both marked with the serial number.

Sights / Optics: No sights installed. The revolver lacks both front and rear sights.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The revolver is fitted with beautifully shaped ivory grips, featuring smooth contours and finger grooves for ergonomic handling. The grips exhibit a warm, mellow patina, characteristic of genuine ivory. The grips show minor age-related discoloration but no critical damage or chips. There is a thin crack on the front of the right grip at the bottom finger groove. The grip panels are embellished with finely engraved silver-colored diamond-shaped inlays. Overall, the grips are in Excellent condition with only light handling and storage wear.
Type of Finish: In the White (No Finish) with Engraved Scrollwork and Gold-Plated Accents
Finish Originality: Original Engraving and Gold Plating, though the revolver remains unfinished (in the white).
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The left side inside the muzzle presents some discoloration in one of the grooves. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains no factory finish, being left in the white. It is elegantly engraved and beautifully accented with gold-plated embellishments on the barrel, cylinder, frame, and underlug. The engraving is masterfully executed, intricate, and highly detailed, with particularly impressive eagle motifs adorning the frame sides. The surfaces exhibit minimal handling marks, appearing clean and sharp overall. Despite the lack of finish and internal mechanical components, the gun presents exceptionally well as a decorative or display piece Once the mechanical components are installed, this will even make an exceptional range piece. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine to Excellent condition as a decorative firearm project.
Mechanics: This revolver is missing all internal mechanical components, including the trigger, hammer, and internal action parts. It is non-functional in its current state. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
