Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “B.S.A. GUNS LTD. ENGLAND” with a BSA stamp. The left side of the chamber is marked with a crowned “BNP”, “.222 REM. 1 70” / 16 TONS.PER (Square)””. The right side of the receiver is marked with a crowned “BNP”. The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number. The scope is marked “Burris”, “12X FULLFIELD MADE IN USA”.
Barrel Length: 24” Approximate. Heavy Barrel with target crown.
Sights / Optics: No provision for front or rear sights. The top of the receiver is mounted with a Burris 12x Fullfield Riflescope mounted via two scope rings.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece Weatherby-style skipline checkered walnut, a raised cheekpiece comb, rosewood forend tip, vented rubber BSA of England buttpad with white and black spacer, and a capped semi-pistol grip with right palm swell. There is a rosewood grip cap with tan spacer and a tan diamond shaped piece of wood inlet into its bottom surface. There is also a rosewood nose cap with a white spacer. There are sling stud provisions in the belly and on the forend but remain empty. There are scratches, scuffs, nicks, and compressions throughout. The checkering is strong and intact with some wear on some of the larger diamonds within the checkering. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14” and 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad and wood, respectively. The pad shows light wear and is pliable. The stock is in Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with a small amount of faint erosion and fouling. The rifling is sharp. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some scattered scratches and scuffs scattered about the barrel. There is some thinning on the leading edges and around the muzzle. There is some frost on the bolt and handle. The screw heads are sharp to tool marked with serviceable slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
