Sights / Optics: The pistol is installed with Trijicon night sights. The front sight is a blade with a tritium lamp and the rear sight is a square notch lo-mount style sight with a tritium lamp on either side, both are dovetailed into the slide. The lamps are bright and easily acquired in low light conditions.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered double-diamond G10 panels. There are some scattered light handling marks, no major defects. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The grips are in Excellent condition.

Type of Finish: Stainless

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates a 10 out of 10.

Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its original finish remaining. There are light handling and operational marks. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions properly. The slide is snug to the frame. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included two  7-round magazines, one 8-round magazine, magazine bases, a bottle of gun oil, a bushing wrench, paperwork including the owners manual and an Ed Brown soft range bag.

This pistol is an excellent example of why they have earned this reputation. Ed Brown has combined the most desired carry upgrades including front and back strap snake scales, bobtail mainspring housing, extended beavertail grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, night sights and skeletonized hammer and trigger with their legendary craftsmanship quality. Quality that will make this an excellent target pistol as well as a defensive pistol to which you can trust your life. This pistol is in Excellent condition and comes with a soft case and two magazines. If you’ve been looking to get a premium-quality 1911, you can’t do much better than this.
