Markings: The chamber is marked with a series of proofs and “CAL. .38SA”. The right side of the frame is marked “READ WARNINGS / BEFORE USING GUNS”, “MT48076”, “CU” date code, and two proofs. The left side of the frame is marked “WITNESS / EAA – COCOA – FLA”, “FT-IT 2019”. Both grip panels are marked “TANFOGLIO”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red dotted blade machined out of the slide. The rear sight is a low profile, black, square notch sight with two white dots dovetailed and screw set to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece textured black polymer scales screw secured to the frame. The front and rear straps are serrated. The frame has a left side manual thumb safety. There is also an accessory rail. There is almost no handling wear on the grips or frame. The grips/frame rate in Excellent to Like New condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes 3 x17rd 38 Super magazines in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The feed ramp is smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is almost no surface wear on this pistol. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are un marred. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. This is a single and double action pistol with manual thumb safety.
