Markings: The top of the receiver is marked with an Argentine crest. The left side of the receiver is marked, “MAUSER MODELO ARGENTINO 1909 / DEUTSCHE WAFFEN-UND MUNITIONSFABRIKEN BERLIN” The right side of the receiver is marked, “H 1724” All serialized parts are matching.

Barrel Length: 23” and 25 ?” to the end of the break.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded hooded post set atop a serrated ramped base. The rear sight is a V-notched adjustable with a nurled screw dovetailed to a block that screwed to the barrel.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece wood with a forend cap, sling studs, through bolt, capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb with cheek piece, and rubber Decelerator buttpad. There are very light pressure dents and scratches throughout. There are chips and no cracks. The LOP is 13.1” Overall this stock set rates at a Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is Bright and the rifling isSharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates at a 9/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are light scratches throughout. The action has light wear. The screw heads are lightly tooled. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
