Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable iron post within two protective ears. The rear sight is an adjustable sliding aperture marked out to 6.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This rifle has a three piece stock set with a vented polymer forend w/ bipod cuts, carry handle, smooth polymer pistol grip, and drop-comb polymer stock w/ rubber buttpad. There is a free swiveling sling ring banded around the barrel in front of the gas block and a sling loop on the belly of the stock. There is no notable wear. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.5″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall this furniture set rates in Excellent + condition.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is minimal handling wear throughout. The action has faith wear. The screw heads are lightly tooled and the pins unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The DS Arms SA58 is an American-made continuation of the FN FAL pattern, retaining the short-stroke gas-piston system, tilting-bolt lockup, adjustable gas regulator, and detachable metric-pattern magazine system that made the FAL one of the defining Western battle rifles of the Cold War. DSA has produced numerous SA58 configurations intended to recreate the handling and appearance of classic military FAL variants, including full-length 21″ rifles with traditional fixed stocks, carry handles, bipod-cut handguards, and military-style sights. This Bush Tracker example adds a distinctive Rhodesian Brushstroke Cerakote treatment, giving the rifle the visual character associated with Rhodesian-service FALs while retaining the modern DSA receiver, 21″ barrel, and classic metric-pattern furniture. This rifle remains in Excellent condition, retaining approximately 99% of its metal finish. The exterior shows only minimal handling wear, with faint operational wear visible around the action. The screw heads are lightly tooled, the pins remain unmarred, and the markings are clear. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no visible erosion, rating 9.75/10 in this writer’s opinion. The three-piece polymer furniture set shows no notable wear, remains free of chips or cracks, and rates in Excellent Plus condition. The rifle retains its carry handle, free-swiveling barrel-mounted sling ring, fixed buttstock, and bipod-cut handguards. The included 20-round steel magazine carries matching Rhodesian Brushstroke Cerakote and remains in Excellent condition. Mechanically, the action functions correctly.
For collectors and shooters interested in FAL-pattern rifles, this SA58 Bush Tracker offers an appealing blend of modern American manufacture and historically inspired Rhodesian styling. The full-length 21″ barrel, traditional furniture, carry handle, and metric-pattern layout preserve much of the classic FAL silhouette, while the Rhodesian Brushstroke finish gives the rifle a far more distinctive presentation than a standard black SA58.
