Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “DAN WESSON ARMS / MONSON, MASS, U.S.A. / 8887”. The right side of the ejector shroud is marked “DAN WESSON ARMS / CAL.22 LR”.
Barrel Length: 6” Full Vent-Rib and Full Length Squared Ejector Shroud
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with red insert, pinned to the vent-rib. The rear sight is a fully adjustable rectangular notch.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is oversized checkered wood with Dan Wesson medallions. A speed loader indent is present on the left side. The grip has a few scattered light compressions and light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grip is in about Fine overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a couple minor scratches on the muzzle. There are a few minor scratches on the sides of the frame. There is a crisp turn line through the finish. The front of the cylinder has build up from use and will benefit from a proper cleaning. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. Overall, this revolver rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. The mechanics are Excellent. The trigger is very light, smooth and crisp. The timing is good and the lockup is mostly tight with a minimal amount of play.
