Our Assessment: The Dan Wesson Model 15-2P is a distinguished double-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, celebrated for its accuracy, innovative design, and versatility. The “P” designation indicates the Pistol Pack configuration, which includes the revolver along with four interchangeable barrels of varying lengths ( 2.5″, 4″, 6″, and 8″), allowing the shooter to customize the firearm for different applications. This set comes in a distinctive carrying case with a yellow interior. The key feature of the Model 15-2P is its modular barrel system, which allows users to quickly and easily swap barrels by simply loosening a shroud nut and using a barrel wrench. This design enables the revolver to adapt to a range of uses, from compact concealment with a shorter barrel to long-range precision shooting with the longer barrels. The revolver’s tensioned barrel design further enhances accuracy by keeping the barrel securely aligned with the frame, reducing flex and maintaining consistency in shot placement. Coupled with its solid steel construction, smooth trigger pull, and adjustable sights, the Model 15-2P delivers exceptional performance whether on the range or in the field.
