Our Assessment: The epitome of strength and beauty among bolt action rifles, the famous Model 76 is well built, pleasing to the eye and deadly accurate. Its exceptionally solid Mauser-type action and controlled feed bolt produce world-renowned accuracy and shot-to-shot consistency, and the fit and finish are impeccable. This is a Model 76 bolt action rifle from Dakota Arms. Dakota made their way into the rifle market producing high-quality rifles at “affordable” prices, though their quality means that affordable is in relation to rifles such as Blaser, Cooper and other high-end manufacturers. Beginning in 1982, they have been known as one of the top makers of bolt action rifles ever since. This example has a 23″ barrel chambered for .338 Winchester Magnum with a beautiful walnut stock and a matte blued finish. This is a gorgeous rifle that will make a nice addition to the collection of one lucky winner. Please see our photos and good luck!
