Our Assessment: This is a B-West imported, Daewoo manufactured DR-200 that came into the US after the 1994 AWB. This rifle was meant to mimic the preban DR-100 model and has the same reputation for being a very well built gun with reliable performance history and ease of use. It is piston operated, but shares many design features of the AR-15, and uses standard AR magazines. The stock is very rugged and has zero movement to it, the skeleton stock is firm but has a little play. With low recoil and great ergonomics this is a great example of firearms technology. Though spare parts are rare and expensive, this unit would be an excellent investment piece or a range toy.
