Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA” and “7300”. The left side of the barrel is marked “BRNO-MOD.3. Cal.22 Long Rifle 56”. The left side of the receiver is marked “56 ZBROJOVKA BRNO narodni podnik”.
Barrel Length: 24” Bull Barrel.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a globe sight with a small circle insert dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear of the barrel is machined with a Weaver style cut. The rear sight is a fully adjustable “LYMAN stye” aperture sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece checkered hardwood stock with a barrel style forend, semi-pistol grip, straight comb, with a finely checkered metal buttplate, two sling swivels and a LOP of 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no cracks in the stock. The stock shows only minor handling wear with a small chip out of the leading edge of the pommel, a mark in the finish in the pommel, a small semi-circle depression in the left side of the comb, and a small nick in the right side of the comb. The metal buttplate has begun to develop some surface rust. The stock feels amazing in the hand and is in Excellent overall condition for C&R given its age.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There are some very small scratches in the bore typical of those made by a cleaning rod. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows some barely visible surface lines in the barrel and receiver. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarried. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition for C&R.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The two stage trigger has a very positive takeup and a clean light break. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
