Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “Vigil”. The right side of the frame is marked with Dan Wesson’s address and the serial number. The chamber is marked “.45ACP / MATCH”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a black blade with a tritium dot, dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch sight, dovetailed to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two-piece textured wood grip set. The grips show light handling wear, with a couple minor surface-level imperfections. The texturing is well defined. The right grip panel fits tightly to the frame, with no play. The left grip panel is missing its top screw, and has slight play. Overall, the grips rate in Very Good to Fine condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: 3x 8rd magazines, all of which rate in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some light fouling present. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light operational wear on the chamber and barrel. The finish on the slide and frame is intact. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. Overall, this pistol rates in Fine to Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, however, the slide does not like to lock open on the 8rd blued magazine. We did not fire this pistol, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with its original serial number matching plastic hard case, cable lock, and the three magazines as mentioned above.

This pistol is in Fine to Excellent condition overall, retaining about 99% of its original black duty finish with only light operational wear on the barrel and chamber. The textured wood grips rate in Very Good to Fine condition with minor handling marks, though the left panel is missing its upper screw and has slight movement. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and light fouling, rating 9.75/10. The action functions correctly, but the slide does not consistently lock open when used with the blued 8-round magazine. It includes its serial-number-matching factory hard case, cable lock, and three Excellent-condition 8-round magazines.
