Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “BRNO MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA” with the BRNO logo. The barrel is marked “ZG47 CAL. 8×64 S”. The top of the receiver is equipped with a Picatinny-style rail for mounting optics, marked “Made in Czechoslovakia”. Additional proof markings are visible on the barrel and receiver, along with “1484” on the barrel.
Barrel Length: 24″.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade mounted on a checkered ramp that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight has been removed leaving a open dovetail. The rifle is fitted with a Picatinny-style rail, allowing for mounting optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle has a checkered hardwood stock, semi pistol grip, fluted straight comb, rubber buttpad, and a set of sling loops. There is a heavy scratch on the right side of the forearm. The wood shows some light handling marks such as scratches and compression marks. The forend and pistol grip feature sharp checkering, and the finish is intact with no major cracks or chips. The stock rates in Very Good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: The rifle has an internal magazine, with a hinged floorplate for unloading.

Bore Condition: The bore is Gray, and the rifling is well-defined. There is moderate visible erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 7/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 85% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear, with minor scratches and finish thinning at high-contact points. There is some freckling and light patina developing on exposed areas. The markings are sharp and legible. The screw heads are serviceable. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes equipped with the previously mentioned Picatinny rail.
