Markings: The barrel is marked “VOLQUARTSEN” and “22 MAG”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “290-33069”, RUGER®”, “MODLE 10/22® CARBINE / .222 WIN. MAG. R.F.” and the Ruger phoenix logo. The buttpad has the name “PACHMAYR”. The top of the alternate barrel is marked “CLARK .17 HMR”.
Barrel Length: The installed Volquartsen barrel measures 16 3/8”. The alternate barrel measures approximately 21 1/2”.
Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights on this rifle. The top of the receiver is milled to accept the installed Ruger 1” rings holding a Ruger branded Leupold Vari-X III 2.5×8 scope with a duplex reticle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one-piece wood featuring a checkered forend, checkered semi-pistol grip, Monte Carlo style comb with cheek piece and textured black rubber buttpad. There are a few light scratches and nicks on the stocks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 3/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. There is no notable wear on the buttpad. The stock is in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, just light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with the Ruger-branded Leupold Vari-X III 2.5×8 scope described above. This rifle comes with one (1) 10-round rotary magazine with intact feed lips and strong follower spring and an alternate barrel marked for .17 HMR.
Our Assessment: This is a nice looking rifle that has been modified to help operator performance and will come in handy for shooting paper or small game that is on the move. This rifle is ideal for the farm or ranch, or the deep woods. The barrel and scope upgrades make this 10/22 a favorite in any application where precision and quick follow-up shots are priorities.
