Sights / Optics: The front sight is a post dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is an adjustable square notch with a serrated face dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece checkered wood Hogue palm swell grips. There is little to no wear on the grips. There are no chips or cracks. The grips are in Excellent Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling present. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This firearm retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is light handling and operational wear. The finish shows edge wear, some light surface scuffs, and a very faint “Idiot Scratch”. The screw heads are unmarred and remain turnable. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this firearm is in Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This custom Rock River Arms Tactical 1911-A1 is a full-size 5 inch semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm Luger. Produced by Rock River Arms, the Tactical 1911 series is known for tight tolerances and competition-oriented features. This example has been upgraded with a Kart match barrel and bushing, they are widely regarded for their precision machining and enhanced accuracy potential within the 1911 platform.
Chambered in 9mm Luger, this pistol offers the familiar single-action 1911 ergonomics combined with the manageable recoil and broad availability of the 9mm cartridge. The Hogue palm swell grips provide enhanced ergonomics and control. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition. The action functions correctly.
This firearm retains approximately 97 percent of its metal finish, presenting a very clean example with light handling wear. Overall, this firearm is in Very Good Plus condition and stands as a well-configured Rock River Arms 1911 enhanced with premium Kart barrel components. A hard case and 8rd magazine is included.
