Markings:  Left side of the receiver is marked “LRB / U.S. RIFLE / M15 SA / CAL. 5.56MM / 00509” and “SAFE FIRE”, “JV PRECISION MACHINE CO. / SEYMOUR, CT / USA”  next to the safety selector switch. There is also the LRB Crest located above the stamp on the magwell.  Right side of the receiver is marked “SAFE” and “FIRE”. The BCG is marked “Y/M NM”.

Barrel Length: 24” Stainless Heavy Barrel

Sights / Optics:  The top of the receiver has a flat top picatinny rail. The rail is mounted with an RPA Trakker Sight.  The front sight is an RPA Trakker 22mm Adjustable Front Sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The buttstock is a fixed polymer stock with a composite removable cheek piece and  a recoil suppressor butt plate assembly.  The pistol grip is a rubber overmolded Ergo grip.  The handguard is a checkered aluminum round handguard with a stainless steel adjustable foregrip.  The LOP measures 13.5 from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttpad.  The stock rates in Very Good condition.  There is wear on the buttstock from the cheekpiece rubbing on the comb.  The checkering under the handguard shows some light wear from the foregrip.  The mag release is a large checkered button. The BCG has a charging handle along with the AR-15 charging handle.  The BCG is a National Match Young Manufacturing Bolt Carrier Group.  The bolt release has an extended lever that reaches in front of the trigger.  There is a weight inserted into the rear of the BCG.  The trigger is a CMC single stage Flat Drop In Trigger.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition:  This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish.  There is some light operation wear. The left side of the upper has some finish loss where the bolt release has rubbed on the receiver. There are some faint drag lines on the receivers.  The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about “Very Good” condition.

Mechanics: We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
