Sights / Optics: A Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x scope with a duplex reticle is mounted in rings and bases. The picture is clean and clear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is stocked in a custom thumbhole sporter stock with a raised cheekpiece, a high-gloss finish, sling swivel studs and a vented rubber recoil pad. A Hunter padded leather sling is attached. The LOP measures 13″ from the front of the trigger to the rear of the recoil pad. There is no major damage to the stock. The stock is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling and light fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.5/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its high-polish blued finish. The metal and stock show only minimal handling marks. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This is a custom bolt action sporter built around a barrel marked “H. The builder finished it with high-polish bluing and a striking thumbhole stock with a raised cheekpiece that offers a secure, comfortable hold for offhand and field shooting.
It comes wearing a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9x, one of the best known American hunting scopes, along with a Hunter padded leather sling. The rifle retains about 99% of its finish and the bore rates 8.5/10. It is a handsome, ready-to-hunt custom magnum.-C.M.
