Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “.22 B.R. REM.”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “J436”. The scope is marked “LEUPOLD VX-III 6.5-20x40mm LONG RANGE”.

Barrel Length: 25.5”

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for Iron sights. Currently mounted to the scope rail is a Leupold Vari-X 3 6.5-20x40mm Scope with a sunshade, side parallax adjustment, and ¼ MOA click covered turrets. The scope has a few small marks in the finish. The sight picture is very clear, overall the scope is in Very Fine condition.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set includes a rounded walnut forend with an Oak tip and integrated front sling stud, and a beautiful silver with walnut inlay capped semi pistol grip, cheek piece straight comb stock with a finely checkered metal buttplate. The stock also has an integrated sling stud. The LOP is 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The forend shows minor compressions and a few small scratches with two notable scratches on the left side. The stock shows a few small lines and one notable compression on the wrist. The metal buttplate has no real signs of wear and is again, beautiful.

Type of Finish: Engraved, Stainless, Matte Stainless.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The finish shows some scattered wear, oil marks, rub wear on the block and the friction surfaces of the action. The screwheads are sharp. The engraving is very well done. Overall this rifle is in about Very Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
