Markings: The right of the slide has an STI Texas logo, the right is marked “TACTICAL 5.0”. The top of the chamber is marked “10MM”. The bottom of the dust cover is marked “CCGUNWORKS / HUDSON MI”, the right of the frame is marked with a Cheely Custom Gunworks logo and “CCGL274”. Each side of the grip frame has an STI logo in the middle.
Barrel Length: 5 1/2″, threaded 9/16×24.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber-optic blade dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight is a “U”-notch dovetailed and screw-set to the rear of the slide.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grip frame is a one-piece checkered tan polymer. The grip frame has minor handling wear with only a few small marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip frame is in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original to Custom Build
Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some stubborn fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 90% of its current metal finish. There is scattered minor finish wear with edge-thinning. The most notable finish loss is on the grip safety. The action shows light operational wear. The screw heads are lightly tool marked with strong sockets. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in Very Good-plus condition as custom.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a single 18-round STI magazine.
Our Assessment: This is NOT your grandpa’s 1911, but with the same controls he could pick this up and safely run it with limited training. Built with a KKM threaded barrel chambered for 10mm in an STI Tactical 5.0 slide and a tan polymer STI grip frame mounted to a Cheely Custom Gunworks 2011-style frame, this is a beast of a pistol. It’s double-stack frame takes an 18-round magazine with the threads allowing for mounting either a comp or a suppressor. The frame’s full-length accessory rail not only allows for mounting a light/laser, but also puts a little more weight out front to help tame the recoil of the 10mm cartridge. This pistol’s combination of power, capacity, and quality parts will make it a favorite in any collection, especially for fans of the 10mm. Please see our photos and good luck!
