Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “Cooper Arms Model 22.” The left side of the barrel is marked “COOPER FIREARMS OF MONTANA, INC., STEVENSVILLE, MT USA.” The barrel is also marked “.308 Win.” The serial number, “PVE 650,” is marked on the receiver.

Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. This rifle is mounted with a Bushnell Elite 4200 scope. The scope has a variable zoom and features a clear reticle with excellent glass clarity. The exterior of the scope shows minimal handling marks, and the adjustment turrets remain crisp and functional. The scope is in excellent condition and complements the rifle’s precision capabilities.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle is fitted with a walnut stock, finely checkered semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, beavertail forend, rubber buttpad. The LOP (Length of Pull) measures approximately 13.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The wood grain is attractive, with only a few light handling marks, but no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The checkering remains crisp, providing a solid grip. The stock rates in fine to excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only minimal handling marks. The stainless barrel remains clean and free of significant blemishes. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and legible. There are no signs of rust or corrosion. Overall, this rifle rates in excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The bolt operates smoothly, and the trigger breaks cleanly. The safety engages and disengages properly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
