Our Assessment: This is a consecutive pair of Winchester Centennial ’66, one a rifle and one a carbine, produced in 1966 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Winchester’s first rifle, the Model 1866. The rifles themselver are Models 94 with a gold-plated receiver and forend cap, 26″ and 20″ octagonal barrels and saddle rings. The gold plating of the receivers harkens back to the Model 1866 which had a brass receiver, and this is a beautiful set of rifles to commemorate the gun that started it all! The rifles are in Fine-Excellent condition with a few minor marks and great bores. This would make a great addition to a Winchester collection, especially as a consecutive pair.
