Markings: The top of the toggle is marked “DWM” The left side of the receiver is marked with an “N” under a crown. The right side of the receiver is marked “GERMANY” The front of the frame is marked “618M” All other markings are gone or too faint to read.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a V-notch integral to the toggle assembly.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels with a classic design. The checkering is worn in spots, with handling marks and mild smoothing, but no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Good overall condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 8-round magazine with a wood baseplate in Very Good condition, only showing light operational wear.

Finish Originality: Refinished
Bore Condition: The bore is semi bright. There is some light erosion in the bore. The rifling is defined and with a thorough cleaning the bore will be very serviceable. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 90% of its current metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling and operational wear. There are faint areas of thinning along the high edges and some scattered marks consistent with refinishing. The screw heads are unmarred, and the markings faint and hard to read. While the lack of markings may detract slightly in regards to collectibility, the refinish is well done keeping the integrity of the finish and styling. Overall, this pistol rates in about Very Good.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
