Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “COLT / AR-15 / PROPERTY / OF U.S. GOVT. / M16A1 / CAL. 5.56MM. / SERIAL 760212V”, “COLT’S PATENT FIREARMS / HARTFORD. CONN. / U.S.A.”, “SAFE SEMI AUTO”, “MFG. CO.” The right side of the gas block is marked “<B>1”.
Barrel Length: 20″, 21.25” with the duck bill three prong flash hider. This rifle also includes an additional duck bill three prong flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable A1 post iron sight and the rear sight sight is an adjustable A1 dual aperture sight sight in the carry handle.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This is an A1 style rifle. The buttstock is an A1 polymer buttstock with sling ring, serrated butt pad, and no trap door. The pistol grip is an A1 checkered polymer pistol grip. The handguard is a polymer A1 triangular handguard with a heat shield. There is some light boxed storage wear including some scuff marks to the polymer. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt pad. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture is in Excellent-Like New in Box condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes One 20rd 5.56mm Colt straight magazine in New in Bag condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. The feed ramps show some minor copper marks. The bolt face is clean. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains 99%+ of its original metal finish. The finish shows no notable marks or wear other than the storage wear mentioned above. The markings are clear, the pins un-marred, and the screw heads sharp. Overall the rifle is in Excellent-Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with its factory serialized box, gun sleeve, magazine, nylon sling, extra flash hider and owner’s manual.
