Sights / Optics: The front sight is a quarter-circle blade. The rear sight is a square groove in the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth walnut panels with gold NRA medallions at their tops. The grips have only a few scattered minor marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some stubborn fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered minor marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup is tight with only barely perceptible play on each chamber. The cylinder has a removable bushing. The trigger pull is crisp. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a locking wood presentation case (key included) with yellow velvet interior. The lid has a clear square in the center with an NRA centennial medallion mounted in it and a Colt medallion at the right-front.
Our Assessment: Produced in 1971 to commemorate 100 years of the National Rifle Association, this is a beautiful 2nd Generation Single Action Army with presentation case and special NRA medallion grips. This is a wonderful tribute to our nation’s leading firearms organization in 1971 from one of our nation’s leading firearms manufacturers. The revolver is in Excellent condition and presents well in its nice case. This is a great firearm to add to any collection in America. Please see our photos and good luck!
