Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.” The left side of the barrel is marked “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .357 MAGNUM.” The frame is marked with the Colt two-line patent dates and the rampant Colt logo. The serial number “SA46555” is marked on the frame, trigger guard, and backstrap.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade. The rear sight is a square-notch integral to the top strap.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are smooth ivory with natural grain patterns. They show minimal handling wear and remain in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion or fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 96% of its original nickel finish. There are minor handling marks, with faint evidence of a turn line on the cylinder. There are scuffs on the right side of the barrel. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp and clear. The cylinder locks up tightly with minimal play. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The hammer locks back securely in each position, and the cylinder indexes properly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
