Markings: The left side of the barrel is adorned with gold script reading “Buffalo Bill Centennial Commemorative” alongside gold-etched images depicting scenes reminiscent of the Wild West Show, including men on horseback and buffalo. The right side of the barrel is marked in gold block lettering with “BUFFALO BILL’S WILD WEST SHOW / COLT, SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45 CAL, HARTFORD CT.” The cylinder features a golden portrait of Buffalo Bill Cody, marked “COLONEL CODY.”

Sights: The front sight is a fixed blade, and the rear sight is a square notch integral to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The revolver is fitted with smooth walnut grips, each bearing a gold Colt Rampant Colt medallion. The grips have a rich finish and are free of handling marks, cracks, or chips. The grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. The gun is unfired, and there is no fouling or erosion. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 98% of its metal finish. The blued barrel and cylinder show only minimal handling marks. The gold accents remain vivid, and the case-hardened frame retains its vibrant original colors. There is a small scratch under the loading gate, approximately 3/16 of an inch long. While it does not draw the eye and is a result of long-term storage, it is the only notable imperfection on the revolver. No turn line is visible on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp, and the markings are crisp. This revolver is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions perfectly, and the cylinder has never been turned outside the factory. As with all firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with its original box, which is in Good condition, showing some light storage wear. Additionally, it includes a wooden display case with a fitted interior designed to hold the revolver securely. The display case is in Excellent condition.
