Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “PYTHON .357 / * 357 MAGNUM CTG *”. The crane and the crane cut are marked “K28572”. The right side of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”. There is a triangle proof and a “F” on the trigger guard. There is a rampant Colt marking on the left.
Barrel Length: 8” with Full Length Underlug and Matte Vented Top Rib
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade pinned to the top rib. The rear sight is a square notched leaf, pinned to the top strap, adjustable for windage and elevation.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This pistol has two piece checkered walnut vintage target grips with the colt medallions in each side with a wide bottom. There is no notable wear. The checkering is sharp. These grips rate at a Like-New overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is light handling wear. There is a faint line worn into the cylinder. The frame screw heads and grip screw heads are sharp. The markings and engraving are crisp and clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent – Like New condition.
Mechanics: We did not fire this handgun. There is no evidence that this revolver has been fired. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
