Our Assessment: This is a complete upper receiver assembly which is in a pseudo-733 configuration. The Colt 733 is an iconic carbine, perhaps best known for its appearances in the epic bank shootout scene from the movie “Heat” and in the hands of Master Sergeant Gary Gordon whose exploits were depicted in “Blackhawk Down”. The original 733 had a C7 upper, essentially an A1 upper receiver which had a shell deflector and an 11.5″ pencil-profile barrel. This upper receiver has been built with an A2 upper receiver, similar to the one seen in the movie “Blackhawk Down”, and a 12″ barrel fitted with an A2 flash-hider. The upper is in great shape, appearing to have seen limited use. Please see our photos and good luck!
