Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There are some patches of erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 6.5/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 65% of its current metal finish. The balance of the finish shows thinning on the leading edges. Most of the finish loss is around the muzzle, front sight, trigger guard, and grip frome where the metal has been nearly worn to white and taken a patina. The cylinder has a turn line that is thin but jagged slightly. Screws are lightly tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in Very Good condition as original C&R.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. The double action is smooth, and the single action is light and crisp. There is little to no play on all of the chambers upon lockup. The mechanics are excellent. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: None.
