Our Assessment:  The Colt Model 1911 is one of the most legendary firearms in American history, and this example, manufactured in 1918, comes from the original wartime production of the U.S. military contract pistols. Designed by John Moses Browning, the 1911 served as the standard sidearm of the U.S. Armed Forces for decades, becoming synonymous with reliability and stopping power.

Whether you’re a collector looking to add an early military 1911 to your collection or a shooter who appreciates the history and craftsmanship of Colt’s iconic design, this pistol presents a fantastic opportunity. These original wartime 1911s are becoming increasingly scarce, and this one, in Good condition, is an excellent example of the breed.  Please see our High Quality photos and good luck with your bids.-C.M.
