Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fiber optic blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is an adjustable target-style sight dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered blue and black G10 composite with Colt’s logo. The grip panels are in excellent condition with no visible wear. The front strap and backstrap are checkered.. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there is stubborn fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal operational wear, primarily on the barrel hood. The markings are clear, and the controls remain crisp. The screw heads are sharp and show no tooling. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in its original blue Colt hard case with the factory paperwork, owner’s manual, factory cable lock (still sealed in plastic), a sample bottle of Lucas gun oil, and one Colt .38 Super magazine.
