Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is no notable wear or damage, just a few light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks in each position with no play when the trigger is pressed. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes with a Colt cardboard box and an Allen soft pistol pouch.
Our Assessment: The Diamondback is essentially a shorter framed Python both in the cylinder and grip frame, sharing similar aesthetic dynamics and is no less striking in appearance and mechanics than its predecessor. As is the case with this example, it was offered in .22 Long Rifle (and even .38 Special!) This revolver retains 99% of its finish, and is, frankly, beautiful. It sports a bright bore and solid cylinder lockup with only very minor signs of use. Those familiar with the “Serpent” line understand the accuracy these revolvers are capable of, this one should prove to be no different. Good luck and happy bidding!
