Optics: Nightforce NXS 3.5-15x50mm FFP scope with a non-illuminated MOAR reticle. The glass is clear and the optic rates in Very Good condition.
Grip/Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a Magpul MOE pistol grip. The stock is a collapsible Magpul CTR stock. The forend is a ventilated tubular handguard with a section of picatinny on top. An Atlas bipod is mounted to the bottom of the handguard. A Geissele two-stage trigger is installed. The bolt is marked “MP” and the carrier is unmarked. The furniture shows little wear other than some light surface blemishes. All of the furniture is in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling. There is some buildup on the brake from shooting. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of finish shows faint handling wear. There is carbon buildup on some of the internals. The pins are clean and unmarred. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety also functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms we expect many will want to clean the firearm depending on their standards.

Our Assessment: This Colt Competition Expert CRP-20 is a precision-oriented 20 inch AR-platform rifle chambered in .223 Remington. Produced under the Colt Competition line, the CRP-20 was designed to deliver enhanced accuracy and long-range performance in a semi-automatic format. The 20 inch barrel configuration offers increased velocity and stability compared to shorter carbine variants.
Mounted atop the receiver is a Nightforce Optics NXS 3.5-15x50mm FFP scope, providing a broad magnification range suitable for precision applications. A Geissele two-stage trigger is installed, offering a refined and consistent pull characteristic of competition-grade setups. An Atlas bipod is mounted to the bottom of the handguard, enhancing supported shooting capability. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition. The action functions correctly.
This rifle retains approximately 99 percent of its original metal finish, presenting a near-new appearance with minimal visible wear. All of the furniture rates in Fine condition.
